MFA Oil Company Hires New Senior Vice President of Retail

Columbia, Missouri – MFA Oil Company, a farmer-owned cooperative based in Columbia, MO, has hired Curtis Chaney as senior vice president of retail. Chaney will be responsible for the Break Time convenience stores as well as MFA Oil’s Jiffy Lube franchise locations.
Curtis brings a proven track record in the convenience store industry. His character, experience and knowledge in the retail environment align very well with the principles and core values of MFA Oil,” says MFA Oil President and Chief Executive Officer Mark Fenner. “We feel very fortunate to have Curtis as a key part of our team.”
Chaney brings 30 years of convenience store experience to MFA Oil. Since 2000, Chaney had been employed by Tri Star Marketing, Inc., based in Champaign, Illinois, that operated 55 Super Pantry convenience stores in Illinois and Indiana. Chaney served as the vice president and chief operating officer since 2012 for Tri-Star. Prior to that, Chaney worked as a district manager for Speedway SuperAmerica.
Originally from Kentucky, Chaney graduated with a business degree from Eastern Kentucky University in 1984 and received his MBA from Eastern Illinois University in 2011.
