The Benefits of Renewable Fuels
- Enjoy high-quality performance and cleaner emissions, all while reducing dependence on imported fuels. Ethanol and biodiesel are produced from a variety of renewable crops grown by our nation’s farmers, including corn, sorghum and soybeans.
- Ethanol is blended with most of the nation’s gasoline, extending our domestic fuel supply. Nearly every auto manufacturer in the world approves of the E10 blend (10% ethanol and 90% gasoline) for use in almost all gas-powered cars.
- Biodiesel is one of the fastest-growing renewable fuels in the country. MFA Oil has supported biodiesel since 1993, and our cooperative is a part-owner in Mid-America Biofuels.
