MFA Oil Company Acquires Brown Propane

Columbia, Missouri – MFA Oil Company, a farmer-owned cooperative based in Columbia, MO, has acquired Brown Propane based in Neosho, Missouri. Brown Propane was owned and operated by Mike and Roberta Brown.
“Brown Propane provides MFA Oil with additional customers to serve more efficiently in the Southwest part of Missouri and into Oklahoma,” says Mark Fenner, chief operating officer of MFA Oil. “The Brown family operated a good propane business and MFA Oil is honored to continue to serve the customers and they worked so hard for over the years.”
The Brown Propane customers will be served from MFA Oil operations at Neosho and Lanagan, Missouri and Grove, Oklahoma. MFA Oil is moving into the Brown Propane office in Neosho and the employees of Brown Propane will be employed by MFA Oil.
This is the seventh acquisition for MFA Oil in the last year. MFA Oil acquired Rowland Oil, Jackson, MO; the refined fuel operations of MFA Cooperative, Freeburg, MO; American Petroleum Marketers, Bonner Springs, KS; Eubanks Oil, Paragould, AR; and Faughn Oil, Campbell, MO. These seven acquisitions increase MFA Oil’s annual volume by over 51 million gallons.
