MFA Oil Company Acquires Alexander Propane

Columbia, Missouri – MFA Oil Company, a farmer-owned cooperative based in Columbia, MO, has acquired Alexander Propane based in Sullivan, Missouri. Alexander Propane was owned and operated by Cris and Marjean Alexander.
“Alexander Propane is a quality acquisition in our existing market territory,” says Mark Fenner, chief operating officer of MFA Oil. “For over 55 years the Alexander family has served propane customers in Crawford and Franklin counties and has established a nice business based on providing value to their customers.”
The Alexander Propane customers will be served from MFA Oil operations at Sullivan, Cuba and Union. MFA Oil is moving into the Alexander Propane office in Sullivan and the employees of Alexander Propane will be employed by MFA Oil.
This is the ninth acquisition for MFA Oil in the last year. MFA Oil acquired Henderson Oil, Columbia, MO; McCorkell Oil, Piedmont, MO; Rowland Oil, Jackson, MO, the refined fuel operations of MFA Cooperative, Freeburg, MO, and American Petroleum Marketers, Bonner Springs, KS, Eubanks Oil, Paragould, Arkansas, and Faughn Oil, Campbell, MO. These nine acquisitions increase MFA Oil’s annual volume by over 53 million gallons.
