MFA Oil Acquires D&D Oil Company
May 5, 2022
MFA Oil Company, a farmer-owned energy supply cooperative, acquired the propane and refined fuel operations of D&D Oil Company, an independent retailer headquartered in Wheaton, Mo., on April 27. The acquisition included a storage location in Cassville, Mo., trucks, tanks, employees and customer accounts.
“We are thrilled to welcome the top-notch team of employees from D&D Oil to the MFA Oil family,” says Kenny Steeves, senior vice president of MFA Oil operations. “This acquisition complements our current operations in southwest Missouri very well.”
Steve DeCocq, president of D&D Oil Company, thanked customers “for allowing us the privilege of providing your fuel needs for so many years.”
“When my wife, Brenda, and I decided to retire, it was imperative to us that we find a company that we believed would have the best culture to take care of our customers and our employees,” DeCocq says. “MFA Oil was hands down the best fit.”
MFA Oil continues to evaluate strategic acquisition opportunities in its existing market areas and other regions where it can expand its footprint.
