MFA Petroleum Adds a Big O Tires Store in Raytown

MFA Petroleum Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of MFA Oil Company, opened its newest Big O Tires store at 9710 E State Route 350 in Raytown, Mo., on April 27. The new location adds to the company’s strong presence in the Kansas City metro area.
Charlie Alexander, vice president of Big O Tires operations, says the Raytown store is a strategic fit that complements the 13 existing Kansas City locations that MFA Petroleum bought in December 2022.
“It’s an appealing location that’s right off the highway and near many major businesses in the area,” Alexander says. “We like how it fills a gap we had in that area while still being relatively close to our other KC operations.”
The Raytown store has 7 service bays and will be managed by Raytown native Nick Gillespie. It is open Monday through Friday from 7 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 7 am to 4 pm.
The Raytown location represents the 37th Big O Tires store for MFA Petroleum, and that number will continue to grow in 2026. The company is preparing a location in Independence, Mo., to open this summer.
