MFA Oil Mourns the Passing of Board Member Doyle Oehl
June 30, 2025
It is with deep sadness that the MFA Oil Company executive team and Board of Directors announce the death of board member Doyle Oehl.
“Doyle was a thoughtful leader and a champion for our cooperative’s mission and values,” says Jon Ihler, president and chief executive officer of MFA Oil. “He cared deeply about agriculture and always put our members first. His steady guidance, humility and integrity made an impression on everyone who worked with him. He will be deeply missed.”
Doyle lived and farmed in Jackson, Mo., where he represented MFA Oil’s Southeast District. He was a longtime member of the cooperative and began serving as a delegate for his community in 2018. In February 2024, he was elected to the MFA Oil Board of Directors.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, executive management team, and employees, MFA Oil extends its deepest condolences and prayers to Doyle’s family.
