MFA Oil Company, a farmer-owned energy supply cooperative, based in Columbia, Mo., today celebrates the grand opening of its 33-acre Business Support Campus in Moberly, Mo. The new site houses the company’s distribution center, maintenance department, parts and packaged goods warehouses, training center, product development and quality control lab, and a 32,000-square-foot truck services department and bulk lubricant storage.
“The Business Support Campus provides us with state-of-the-art facilities for many of our operations and a centralized location to service our growing trade territory” says Mark Fenner, president and CEO of MFA Oil.
MFA Oil has relocated about 30 positions to the Business Support Campus and plans to add additional staff in Moberly as the company continues to grow.
“MFA Oil has been a great corporate citizen in Moberly for years,” says Corey Mehaffy, president of the Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation. Area families have benefited from employment opportunities with the company’s retail operations and many of our local non-profit organizations have been positively impacted by grant and scholarship awards from the MFA Oil Foundation. We are grateful for MFA Oil’s increased investment with the Moberly Business Support Campus and we look forward to partnering with the company to support their continued growth in the years to come.”
