MFA Oil Announces College Scholarships for Employees’ Children

MFA Oil Company has three scholarship endowments that provide educational assistance to the sons and daughters of its employees.
Winners of MFA Oil Company’s 2023 employee college scholarships have been selected and will receive $2,000 each:
Harrison Fowler, son of Lisa Fowler, accounts receivable administrator in the Home Office, is a winner of the Dale H. Creach Scholarship. Harrison attends Hallsville R-1 High School and plans to study biology at Truman State University.
Owen Ives, son of Katie Ives, customer service representative from the Cole Camp, Mo., plant for the BPLP division, is also a winner of the Dale H. Creach Scholarship. Owen attends Cole Camp R-1 High School and plans to pursue a degree in chemical engineering at the University of Missouri.
Ben Lause, son of Jared Lause, BPLP manager from Union, Mo., is the winner of the C.F. Robertson Scholarship. Ben attends St. Francis Borgia High School and plans to attend East Central Community College and Missouri S&T, where he will study mechanical engineering.
Olivia Oerly, daughter of Barb Oerly, Break Time accounting manager in the Home Office, is the winner of the Jerry Taylor Scholarship. Olivia attends Jamestown C-1 High School and plans to attend Moberly Area Community College and the University of Missouri to study biology.
Winners were chosen based on academic record, school/community activities and characteristics of leadership. There were several very strong applicants, and we wish all of them success in their future education and careers.
