Jon Ihler
President and Chief Executive Officer
Jon Ihler has served as president and chief executive officer of MFA Oil Company since July 2019. He is the fifth CEO in the cooperative’s history.
Ihler began his career with MFA Oil in 2001 in retail automotive management. He later moved to Colorado, where he owned and operated a franchised automotive business, before returning to MFA Oil in 2006. He subsequently held several leadership positions, including business development manager, director of sales and marketing, and vice president of sales and marketing.
Ihler serves on the boards of trustees for the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Foundation, the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives and the Graduate Institute of Cooperative Leadership. He also serves as an advisory director for The Bank of Missouri and has previously served on the Missouri Community Betterment Board of Directors.
A Columbia, Mo., native, Ihler earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Missouri.
