Community Giving Guidelines

MFA Oil is proud to support local organizations and events through donations and sponsorships that make a positive impact in the communities we serve. Please review the following guidelines before submitting a Community Giving request.

Is Your Organization Within Our Trade Territory?

MFA Oil serves communities across Missouri, Arkansas, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma and Tennessee. To be eligible for Community Giving support, your organization or event must be located within 30 miles of an MFA Oil location.

Donations and Sponsorship Guidelines

• Requests must be submitted at least 20 business days before the event or advertising deadline, whichever comes first.
• All requests must be submitted through our online application. Requests submitted by email or phone will not be considered.
• Please submit only one request per organization each year.
• Recreational youth sports teams and leagues are eligible for consideration only when an MFA Oil employee’s child participates on the team or in the league. These requests must be submitted by the MFA Oil employee.
• Contributions will be made payable to the organization responsible for the event or initiative, not to individuals.
• Meeting these guidelines does not guarantee funding. Requests are considered based on eligibility, available resources and alignment with MFA Oil’s community giving priorities.

Requests We Do Not Fund

MFA Oil does not provide funding for:

• Individuals
• Political organizations or activities
• Research projects, assessments or special studies
• Adult sports teams or leagues
• Recreational youth sports teams or leagues unless they meet the employee participation requirements outlined above
• Scholarship programs
• Pageants
• Conferences, conventions, seminars or expos
• Employee appreciation events
• Organizations soliciting funds for causes outside the United States
• Organizations raising funds on behalf of charities MFA Oil already supports directly

We appreciate the work local organizations do to make our communities stronger. If your donation or sponsorship request meets the guidelines above, we encourage you to submit an application for consideration. While we are unable to fulfill every request, we carefully review each application and invest in programs, events and initiatives that make a meaningful impact where we live and work.
