Israel hits petrochemical plant in Iran with airstrike

OPEC+ agreed on Sunday to its fourth increase in it oil output in as many months, even as the war with Iran has prevented many of its members from producing more. Seven core members of the group have increased their output quotas from April to June by almost 600,000 bpd. However, according to OPEC figures, the group’s production has collapsed due to the export cuts by Gulf members.
Israel said it hit a petrochemical plant in Iran’s southwest, along with strikes elsewhere on military targets, after President Trump reportedly told Israeli Prime Minister Bejamin Netanyahu to refrain from further attacks.
The Leaders of Britain, Germany, and France called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to agree to an immediate and complete ceasefire to allow talks on a lasting peace deal.
