AgFuel Energy Systems Partners with ClearStak, LLC to Form AgFuel Northeast, LLC
March 10, 2014
Columbia, Missouri –AgFuel Energy Systems announced that it has partnered with ClearStak, LLC to form AgFuel Northeast, LLC. The company will be based in Woodstock, CT, and will recruit dealers to distribute AgFuel Energy Systems throughout the northeast region of the U.S.
“Partnering with ClearStak to promote furnace sales in the Northeast is a natural fit,” says Dustin Dover, AgFuel director of operations. “We already have a successful working relationship with the company and it is strategically located from a distribution standpoint.”
AgFuel Northeast will begin recruiting dealers to distribute its furnaces in April. The region has been an area of interest for marketing AgFuel products for some time because of the established use of biomass furnaces and pellet delivery infrastructure. “Energy costs are typically higher and the heating season is generally longer in the Northeast, and consumers are looking for alternatives,” says Dover. “We see an opportunity to meet this growing demand.”
“Although expanding to a new region can present regulatory challenges for any company,” Dover continues, “ClearStak is familiar with local emissions regulations and its team has over 60 years of combined experience in the air pollution industry. Their expertise and commitment to the environment will be invaluable to AgFuel Northeast. We are excited about this opportunity for growth.”
