MFA Oil Company Announces Death of Board Member Floyd Buckman

It is with great sadness that the MFA Oil executive team and Board of Directors announces the death of board member Floyd Buckman who was tragically killed on August 27 in a single-vehicle accident.
“Floyd served our Board with great commitment. He was a respected leader and dedicated director. The agricultural community has truly lost one of its finest contributors,” says Mark Fenner, president and chief executive officer of MFA Oil. “Floyd was both a colleague and a friend and he will be sorely missed. On behalf of our Board of Directors, executive management team and employees, we mourn his loss and extend our deepest condolences and prayers to Floyd’s family.”
Floyd, a resident of Stoutsville, Mo., has served as an MFA Oil delegate in the company’s East Central District since 2007. He was elected to the Board in 2011, and appointed Vice Chairman of the Board in December 2017.
