MFA Oil Raises $160,000 to Support Military Families

MFA Oil announces its Eighth Annual Charity Golf Scramble and Concert benefitting Operation Homefront raised $160,000 in donations in support of America’s military families. The event was held on June 6, 2022, in Columbia, Mo., at The Club at Old Hawthorne with more than 230 golfers.
Since 2015, MFA Oil has raised over $1.16 million in donations for Operation Homefront, a national nonprofit that provides financial assistance to the families of U.S. military service members and veterans.
“We support Operation Homefront in its mission of building strong, stable, and secure military families,” says Jon Ihler, MFA Oil President and CEO. “Our military service members and their families make many sacrifices to protect the freedoms we enjoy daily, and we are honored to partner with an organization like Operation Homefront that serves such a noble cause.”
The event included a golf tournament, dinner and a private concert by country music duo LOCASH. MFA Oil thanks its golfers, sponsors, employees and customers for helping to make the golf scramble and concert a fundraising success for Operation Homefront.

Founded in 2002, Operation Homefront provides military and veteran families with relief through critical financial assistance, transitional housing programs, resiliency through permanent housing and caregiver support services, and recurring family support programs and services throughout the year that help military families overcome the short-term bumps in the road, so they don’t become long-term chronic problems.
