MFA Oil Company announces Tony Dameron of Vandalia, Mo., has been elected to its board of directors. He was elected to represent the East Central district on the company’s eight-member board by MFA Oil delegates through a special election held on Sept. 21 in Mexico, Mo.

The special election was held to fill the seat that became vacated by the untimely death of former board member Floyd Buckman of Stoutsville, Mo. Dameron’s term will run through 2020.

Dameron, who raises row crops and cattle with his wife, is a third-generation MFA Oil member and has served as a delegate for the cooperative since 2015. He is a lifelong member of Curryville Baptist Church and is a member of the Van-Far School Board. He is also an active member of the Vandalia Lions Club, Missouri Cattlemen’s Association, Missouri Corn Growers Association and Van-Far FFA Alumni.
